Handcrafted for perfection in hi-fi
All RA Acoustics speakers are handcrafted in our workshop. Master carpenters carefully select the best material for each individual part of the cabinet in line with acoustic requirements. We believe in the inherent sound properties of wood as a natural material, but ensure the lowest possible tolerances and long-term stability of the relevant parameters by having it processed to perfection. ‘Made in Germany’ is not just a hallmark ensuring highest quality, but also our promise to select each part with utmost care bringing everything together to create something extraordinary: Loudspeakers of absolute sonic and aesthetic perfection.
Nature and high-tech combined
Speaker cabinets of all models are crafted from ´Panzerholz´- high density pressed wood. This special material, produced under extreme pressure, combines the properties of natural wood layers with the precision and uniformity of a synthetic material in a unique way. By pressing the individual layers, properties of the wood are changed: fibres are rearranged on a molecular level, density is increased and homogeneity improved while retaining an ideal internal damping. The reward for all these efforts: Live-like and natural timbre without bloated bass reproduction and resonances.
The whole is more than the sum of the parts
Speaker enclosures, drivers and crossover networks form a unique symbiosis to achieve one goal: natural, vibrant sound. Lowest tolerance and long-term stability of all parameters guarantee a musical listening experience for decades. To get there, every single part of the cabinet and component is measured and selected using computer-aided testing methods. Flawless components offering minimal deviations to each other ensure that every single loudspeaker by RA Acoustics corresponds to the golden development sample in acoustic perfection.
Designed for maximum sound enjoyment
Our loudspeakers are designed to combine sound and aesthetics with utmost perfection. Timeless, simple and elegant shapes invite you to integrate them into any elegant living environment. But they are not an end in themselves! Shaping the cabinets, positioning the drivers and designing the enclosure walls rely as much on acoustic ideals as aesthetic ones. Individual choice of colours, lacquer with either matt or glossy surfaces are all possible, we strive to implement (almost) every wish into a custom-made luxury product.
